Jo Ellen Trossbach was born in Washington, DC at the old Sibly Hospital. Her family moved to Morningside in the Maryland suburbs when she was 5. Soon after graduating from Suitland Sr. High in 1965, she went to work for the Main Post Office in Washington, DC. Shortly thereafter, she embarked on a long and fulfilling career with the Federal Government. She has worked for the Army, DC Air National Guard, Air Force, Marine Corps and the Navy. It was with the Navy that held her interest the longest, retiring as a Procurement Information Analyst in 1993. Jo Ellen saw a need for cat boarding after living in Colorado and having to use one for her cat while on vacation trips. Cat Paws Inn was opened in 2001 and has been a great source of enjoyment. Most people who own cats know that they prefer a quiet environment – No dogs. The inn is nestled amongst many trees on five and a half acres. Cat Paws Inn has spacious floor-to-ceiling "Cat Condos," each having a private window and porches for those who enjoy the outdoors. And there is plenty of out door activity for the cats to watch including birds, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and occasionally a raccoon and opossum. Your cat will be well rested upon your return. All cats must be current on their immunizations and you must show a veterinarian’s receipt. So start your next vacation stress free and call Cat Paws Inn at 301-274-9616. |
